In November 2016 Dulux Academy took the top prize at the British Coatings Federation (BCF) annual awards in the category of 'Excellence in Training'.
The awards attended by key players in the coatings industry including a number of our close competitors, Sherwin-Williams, Crown Paints, PPG and Farrow & Ball recognises excellence within our industry covering sustainability, customer service, training and coatings care awarded to the company that has made the most significant performance on safety and environmental care.
Dulux Academy had been shortlisted as one of the four finalists in the Excellence in Training Award which recognises a company that has demonstrated not only investment in training and development but a tangible business benefit as a result. The judges recognised the Dulux Academy as leading the industry with an exclusive qualification, investment in a state-of-the-art training facility and our role in addressing the industry skills gap.
"We've set out to professionalise the industry and his award is fantastic recognition for our first year in doing just that! I'm really proud of what the team have achieved this year and the industry recognising us in front of our competitors is an amazing achievement" commented Vickie Mather, Dulux Academy Manager.
